At Ollie’s Great Bakery, we know allergy information matters. Our owners & bakers deal with food sensitivities: Camryn is allergic to some tree nuts and Charlie avoids gluten, so we take allergy transparency seriously!

Our bakery prepares a wide variety of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cakes, muffins, breads, and specialty treats, and we want customers to have clear ingredient information before ordering.

Please note that Ollie’s Great Bakery is not an allergen-free facility. Our bakery handles wheat, milk, egg, soy, and peanuts. Cross-contact is possible.

Products described as “made without” a specific allergen are made without that allergen as an intentional ingredient, but we cannot guarantee any product is allergen-free.

We can also place an internal note on your order so our team can take extra care and, when possible, prepare and box your order separately to help reduce the risk of cross-contact.

Milk is used in our bakery.
Many Ollie’s products contain milk through ingredients such as butter, chocolate chips, buttercream, condensed milk, candy pieces, and other baking ingredients.

Common products that contain milk:
Cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, most muffins and breads, buttercream items, chocolate/candy items, peanut butter cup items, and peanut butter marshmallow brownies.

Products commonly made without milk as an intentional ingredient:
Flourless peanut butter cookies and vegan chocolate peanut clusters are made without milk as an intentional ingredient. When seasonally on our menu, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, banana muffins, and banana bread are also made without milk as an intentional ingredient

Egg

Egg is used in our bakery.
Many Ollie’s products contain egg, including most cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, breads, and peanut butter cookies.

Common products that contain egg:
Cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, muffins, breads, peanut butter cookies, and peanut butter marshmallow brownies.

Products commonly made without egg as an intentional ingredient:
Apple crisp, gluten-friendly apple crisp, and vegan chocolate peanut clusters are made without egg as an intentional ingredient.

Wheat

Wheat is used in our bakery.
Most standard Ollie’s baked goods contain wheat through flour and other baking ingredients.

Common products that contain wheat:
Standard cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, muffins, breads, and standard apple crisp.

Products commonly made without wheat as an intentional ingredient:
Gluten-friendly cupcakes, gluten-friendly cakes, gluten-friendly apple crisp, flourless peanut butter cookies, and vegan chocolate peanut clusters are commonly made without wheat as an intentional ingredient.

Important note:
These items are not made in a certified gluten-free facility. They are prepared in a bakery that handles wheat. Please contact us before ordering for someone with a wheat allergy, celiac disease, or severe gluten sensitivity.

Gluten-Friendly Requests

We offer select items made without wheat or gluten-containing ingredients.
These may include gluten-friendly cupcakes, gluten-friendly cakes, gluten-friendly apple crisp, flourless peanut butter cookies, and vegan chocolate peanut clusters.

Important note:
These items are not made in a certified gluten-free facility. They are prepared in a bakery that handles wheat flour, dough, and other gluten-containing ingredients.

Our Gluten-Friendly products may be a better fit for customers avoiding gluten as a preference, but they may not be appropriate for customers with celiac disease or severe wheat/gluten sensitivity.

Soy

Soy appears in some Ollie’s ingredients.
Some products contain soy through ingredients such as chocolate chips, soy lecithin, candy pieces, decorations, and supplier-labeled ingredients.

Common products that may contain soy:
Chocolate chip cookies, M&M cookies, brownies, chocolate/candy items, some cake flavors, some decorated items, and some supplier-made ingredients.

Why soy varies by product:
Soy is one of the more complicated allergens because some supplier labels include soybean oil, soy lecithin, or advisory statements. Please contact us before ordering so we can review the exact item, flavor, decoration, and current ingredient statement.

Peanuts

Peanuts are used in our bakery.
Some Ollie’s products intentionally contain peanuts or peanut butter.

Common products that contain peanuts:
Peanut butter cookies, peanut butter cup cookies, peanut butter cup brownies, peanut butter marshmallow brownies, and vegan chocolate peanut clusters.

Products commonly made without peanuts as an intentional ingredient:
Many standard cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, muffins, breads, and apple crisps are commonly made without peanuts as an intentional ingredient, unless a peanut topping, peanut butter cup, or peanut-containing customization is selected.

Supplier advisory notes:
Some candies or purchased ingredients may include peanut advisory statements, such as “may contain peanuts.”

Possible options to ask us about:
For customers avoiding peanuts, cookie cakes, cupcakes, and traditional cakes are often the simplest options to review because they are not typically made with peanut ingredients, depending on the selected flavor, frosting, decoration, and current supplier labels.

Tree Nuts

Tree nuts are not a standard intentional ingredient in Ollie’s products, but supplier advisories may apply.
Some purchased ingredients may be made on equipment or in facilities that also process tree nuts.

Products or ingredients that may involve tree-nut advisory statements:
Certain chocolate/candy items, maroon sprinkles, certain muffin and bread ingredients, and peanut products may include tree-nut advisory language from the manufacturer.

Products commonly made without tree nuts as an intentional ingredient:
Most standard cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, apple crisps, and many core bakery items are commonly made without tree nuts as an intentional ingredient.

Sesame

Sesame is not currently a standard intentional ingredient in our core menu.
Our current core recipes do not typically use sesame as an intentional ingredient.

Most Ollie’s cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, muffins, breads, apple crisps, and specialty treats are commonly made without sesame as an intentional ingredient.

Fish & Shellfish

Fish and shellfish are not standard intentional ingredients in our bakery products.
Ollie’s does not typically use fish or crustacean shellfish in our cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, breads, or specialty treats.

Coconut

Coconut appears in select ingredients.
Some products may contain coconut through ingredients such as coconut oil, and some decorations may include manufacturer advisory statements mentioning coconut.

Vegan chocolate peanut clusters contain coconut oil. Some sanding sugars or sparkling sugars may include manufacturer advisory language mentioning traces of coconut.

Products commonly made without coconut as an intentional ingredient:
Most standard cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, brownie cakes, muffins, breads, and apple crisps are commonly made without coconut as an intentional ingredient.

Food Coloring & Dye Sensitivities

Some Ollie’s products contain food coloring.
Food coloring may appear in colored frosting, school-color sprinkles, M&M candies, colored sugars, red velvet cake, strawberry cake, and other decorated items.

Common products that may contain food coloring:
School-color cupcakes, school-color sprinkle cookies, school-color brownies, M&M cookies, cookie cakes, cookie pong cakes, decorated cakes, red velvet items, strawberry items, and seasonal decorated treats.

Products commonly made without added decorative food coloring:
Classic chocolate chip cookies, classic brownies, some plain cakes or cupcakes with white buttercream, banana bread, blueberry bread, cranberry orange bread, and some other non-decorated items may be made without added decorative food coloring.

Vegetarian

Some Ollie’s products are vegetarian, but not all.
Please contact us before ordering if vegetarian ingredients are important for the recipient.

Some products may contain ingredients that are not vegetarian, including shortening that contains animal-derived ingredients. Other products may contain eggs, milk, butter, or other dairy ingredients.

Possible options to ask us about:

Ollie’s offers select vegan-friendly items.
