Our Story: In Honor of Ollie

Hello! My name is Cam- I am the founder of Ollie's Great Bakery! I graduated from UNC as a Morehead-Cain Scholar in 2022 & have been baking since I was a young boy.

My great-grandmother, Ollie, taught me how to bake everything from her famous brownies to her beloved banana bread. 'On-The-Go Ollie' was always busy mixing up a batch of goodies and passing on lessons, and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful memories from my childhood. I will forever cherish the time I spent in the kitchen with my great-grandmother.

I am so proud to honor her legacy and carry on her recipes. Her baking brought so much joy to my family, and I hope to continue spreading her love in each and every order I bake. From my family to yours: enjoy!

Tar Heel Born, Tar Heel Bred

My family and I have certainly become Tar Heels after relocating to NC in 2008. I am proud to have received a Morehead-Cain scholarship to UNC and graduated with honors in 2022. My sister, Chiara, graduated from UNC's Business School in 2023, and my younger brother, Luca, hopes to play baseball at UNC!

​While Chapel Hill will always have a special place in my heart, I absolutely love delivering down the road to Duke, NC State, and Elon University all on a regular basis. I also make special trips around holidays to ECU, Wake Forest University, UNCW, High Point University, and UNCG! There is no better way to send a taste of home to your student than a delivery from Ollie's.

In addition to delivering on campus at all these universities, we deliver to local residents and community members too! We are proud to offer FREE delivery on all orders!

Works of Art

Charlie is a full time student at UNC, and she has always enjoyed creating art. Adding to her love for oil paints and acrylic, she has truly developed a talent for decorating baked goods!

Using our made-from-scratch sweet buttercream frosting, beautiful color dyes, and unique chocolate drizzles, Charlie creates absolutely stunning desserts! Whether you are looking for elegantly decorated floral cupcakes, a cute birthday cookie cake, or decadently drizzled cookies, we are proud to have Charlie decorating our treats.

Luckily for us, Charlie also has a talent for photography! Our aesthetic social media accounts and stunning website photos are all her handiwork!

details: not skimping on the chocolate, using real butter, and sourcing the freshest eggs possible!

We are proud to raise our very own flock of chickens to supply Ollie's with the freshest, most delicious eggs! We use all our farm fresh eggs for baking whenever possible, and we believe you can taste the difference! With our flock producing over 2 dozen eggs per day, this is just another example of how the OG bakery does it RIGHT!
